What is coatsystem?
CoatSystem is an efficient and effective procurement process, especially set up for the paint and chemical industry. We enable transactions between machine buyers and sellers.
How it works?
As soon as CoatSystem receives an inquiry from a buyer, we will forward a questionnaire in order to get all specific requirements of the machine that is being looked for. This questionnaire needs to be filled-out by the buyer and be returned to CoatSystem. We will forward this questionnaire to different appropriate suppliers. They in turn will prepare a quotation that will exactly match (or be close to) the specific product that has been requested.
What are the advantages of using CoatSystem?
Paint and chemical producers are constantly looking for a more efficient and effective way to get product quotations that perfectly meet their requirements. It is difficult for buyers to find the best matching supplier without spending too much time on each product requirement. CoatSystem will help buyers to find the supplier they are looking for.

CoatSystem is part of Quoting Systems, an international agency with worldwide connections and activities.
CoatSystem is a Dutch-based company consisting of a young team of enthusiastic marketing specialists with specific knowledge of the paint and chemical industry.

Does CoatSystem work internationally?
Yes. CoatSystem operates with a global source of suppliers to the paint and chemical industry.
What machine transactions are being offered by Coatsystem?
We enable transactions for all machines used in the production process of the paint and chemical industry.
Costs of using CoatSystem services?
Using CoatSystem is completely free of charge for any buyer.
Only for succesfull concluded transactions, suppliers (sellers) will be charged a small commission. For transactions up to a sum of € 3.500,- a minimum of € 50,- will be charged for administrative costs.

Enquiry and Registration
What happens after I send an enquiry?
We will send you an e-mail with attached ‘the agreement for the use of service’, our ‘ terms and conditions’ and the appropriate questionnaire. Before we will forward your enquiry to multiple suppliers, you have to read and accept (DocuSign) the ‘agreement for the use of service’. This agreement is part of our ‘terms and conditions’.
After having completed the questionnaire, you can forward it to firstname.lastname@example.org. Based on this questionnaire, you will receive multiple quotations from appropriate suppliers. You can compare all quotations and can decide to proceed with any of the suppliers.
After I have sent a completed questionnaire to CoatSystem, is it possible to change or correct the ‘order’?
If you want to change or correct the content of your request, please contact us by e-mail: email@example.com as soon as possible. We will contact the suppliers and they will adjust the specification accordingly.
How many quotations can I expect?
We will present you at least two quotations.
I want to do business with one of the selected companies, how to proceed?
As soon as you have made your choice, please send us the quotation reference number and we will inform you about the supplier’s name. If you already were informed about the supplier’s name, please inform us that you want to proceed with the given company. The supplier’s name, contract sum and date of contract has to be send to firstname.lastname@example.org.
What if I do not accept any of the quotations?
No cure, no pay. All received quotations are without any obligation. Please contact us and let us know why you made the decision not to proceed with any of the suppliers.
In how many days should I make a decision to proceed with one of the proposed suppliers?
There is no time limit. You will be contacted by us in case you have not responded within 1 month after receipt of the quotations.
What happens after I register my company as a seller?
We will send you an e-mail with attached ‘the agreement for the use of service’ and our ‘terms and conditions’. Before we official register your company as a supplier in our database, you have to read and accept the terms of these documents.
In how many days should I respond to a quotation request?
When you receive a questionnaire completed by a buyer looking for a machine your company can supply, you are requested to prepare a quotation at your earliest.
How do I change, delete or correct my company registration?

Quality and Reliability
What about the quality of the affiliated suppliers?
Quality and reliability is very important to us. All our suppliers are screened on reliability and checked on their references.
What if I am not satisfied with the supplier's product/service?
CoatSystem are no party in any transaction or proposed transaction. You will be requested to contact the supplier directly.
What about the warranty on the product?
The warranty responsibility is beyond the terms and conditions of CoatSystem. For warranty of the delivered machines, you have to check the terms and conditions of the supplier.
What is the standard lead time?
The lead time is determined by the different suppliers. CoatSystem will always try to shorten this whenever possible.
Is it possible to get quotations from used machines?
Yes. Please be as specific as possible whenever you fill out our questionnaire. We are always looking for the best supplier, who can meet all (or be close to) your requirements.
